The Reverend Shari Grenier - Sandcastles Weddings
Rev. Shari started planning dream weddings for her clientele in 1996 and now officiates as well; it is easy to see how her couples benefit from her years of experience calming nervous brides (and grooms, too) and offering last-minute advice.
This same experience has made her familiar with the many venues in the area. She has performed wedding ceremonies in such beautiful locations as the Royal Botanical Gardens, Scottsdale Farm, and the Alton Mills Art Centre, but she has done equally beautiful ceremonies in the couple’s own back yard!
Shari works with the couple by phone, email, or in person to completely customize the wedding ceremony to reflect both their personalities. Shari can perform any type of wedding ceremony — long or short, traditional or contemporary, religious, non-denominational, or non-religious, LGBTQ, vow renewals, elopements and commitment ceremonies.
A resident of Ajax with her officiant hubby Dave, their primary area is Toronto and Durham Region. They regularly travel outside this area for no extra charge, as long as the distance is reasonable.
In addition to planning and officiating weddings, Shari trains and certifies wedding planners, and has written two books on the subject: Weddingology, which is a resource for brides as well as wedding professionals, and The Sandcastles Guide to Starting and Managing Your Own Wedding Planning Business.

Dave Grenier, the other half of the Sandcastles Team, is also available for weddings in the Toronto and Durham regions. Working together with wife Shari, they will create a wedding that is both memorable and personalized.
A motorcycle enthusiast, Dave offers weddings of all kinds, but as a special niche is happy to perform Biker ceremonies.
